Compare the full value and meet safely
Compare asking prices for the same model, storage, age and condition. Include the likely cost of a battery, screen, charger or other repair instead of judging the phone only by the lowest advertised price.
Meet in a suitable public place and inspect the phone before paying whenever possible. Do not share an OTP or send advance money because someone claims that another buyer is waiting.
Prepare your phone before selling it
Add clear photos and state the exact model, storage, age, condition, battery details, repair history, asking price and pickup area. Show scratches or damage honestly and list the accessories and documents you will provide.
Back up anything you need, sign out of your accounts and remove the SIM and memory card before handing over the phone. Erase your personal data only when the sale is ready to be completed, and confirm that account locks have been removed.
