What is Zutilo?
Zutilo is a local marketplace for India. We connect people who want to buy and sell things in their own neighborhoods. It's simple, fast, and focused on your local community.
Is it free to use?
Yes, it's completely free to create an account and browse items. You can also post ads for free in most categories.
How do I sign up?
Just enter your mobile number. We'll send you a code (OTP) to verify it, and you're in. No complicated forms or passwords to remember.
Selling
How do I sell something?
Tap the 'Sell Item' button. Pick a category, upload a few clear photos, write a short description, and set your price. That's it—your ad goes live in minutes.
What can I sell?
Almost anything legal! Phones, furniture, cars, clothes, or even services like tutoring. Just make sure it's a real item and you own it.
My ad was rejected. Why?
Usually, it's because of a policy violation (like selling prohibited items) or low-quality photos. Check your email; we always send a specific reason so you can fix it.
How do I get more buyers?
Good photos are key. Take pictures in daylight. Also, write a clear title and be fair with your price. You can also use our 'Boost' feature to show your ad to more people.
For Businesses
Can I use Zutilo for my shop?
Absolutely. We have Business Accounts specifically for shop owners. You get a dedicated store page, bulk posting tools, and a 'Verified Business' badge to build trust.
What are Business Packages?
These are plans for high-volume sellers. They give you more ad limits, better visibility, and tools to manage your inventory. You can check the pricing in your account settings.
How do I upgrade?
Go to your Profile and look for 'Upgrade to Business'. You'll need to provide some basic business details to get verified.
Payments & Safety
How do I pay for ads?
We support all major Indian payment methods: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit/Debit Cards, and Net Banking.
Is it safe?
We work hard to keep the platform safe, but you should always be careful. Meet buyers in public places. Never transfer money before you see the item. If something feels wrong, walk away.
What if I see a scam?
Report it immediately. There's a 'Report' button on every ad and profile. We investigate every report and ban scammers to keep the community safe.
Trust & Safety
How do I report someone?
On any ad or user profile, tap the three dots or the 'Report' button. Tell us what happened, and we'll handle it.
What does 'Verified' mean?
It means we've checked that user's identity or business details. It adds an extra layer of trust when you're dealing with them.
Do you offer buyer protection?
Since transactions happen directly between you and the seller (usually in person), we don't handle the money or the goods. We provide the platform to connect, but the deal is up to you.
My Account
Can I change my phone number?
Right now, your account is linked to your mobile number. To use a different number, you'll need to create a new account.
How do I delete my account?
You can do this in Settings. Just remember, this is permanent—all your ads and chat history will be gone.
I can't log in.
Make sure you're entering the correct mobile number. If you're not getting the OTP, check your network signal or try again in a few minutes.
