Choose a truck that fits your work
Browse 478 truck and lorry ads across Gujarat on Zutilo. Depending on current ads, you may find pickups, mini trucks and larger goods vehicles. Confirm the model and location with the person who posted the ad.
Think about the goods you carry, the roads you use and where you will park or load. Check the body and how much the truck is allowed to carry; do not choose from its price or photos alone.
Inspect the truck before you decide
Ask about the year, kilometres travelled, engine, tyres, brakes and any repairs. Check the load body for damage and ask what work the truck has done. A seller description is a starting point, not a condition check.
See the truck running and take a test drive when it is safe and permitted. If you are unsure about the engine, chassis or body, arrange your own mechanic to inspect it before paying.
Check the papers and ownership
Compare the registration certificate with the vehicle and the person selling it. Ask to see insurance, fitness and permits where they apply. Check the official records yourself rather than relying only on a photo or a claim that the papers are clear.
Ask whether a loan is still recorded against the truck and how the registered owner will complete the transfer. If anything is unclear, check with the transport office or an independent adviser before you hand over money.
Compare the whole cost, not just the ad price
An ad may be for a complete truck, a chassis or a body. Ask exactly what the price includes, then allow for tyres, repairs, insurance, paperwork and the trip to collect it.
Confirm where the vehicle can be viewed before travelling. Meet and inspect it in person, agree on payment and handover with the seller, and be cautious about any request for an advance before those checks.
Selling a truck or pickup?
Describe the make, model, year, fuel, kilometres travelled, load body, known faults and asking price. Add clear photos of the vehicle and your town so buyers can decide whether to contact you.
Be clear about the registration owner, any outstanding loan and the current insurance, fitness or permit status where relevant. Tell buyers what they can inspect and where the truck is kept.
