Find a machine for the work you need to do
Browse construction vehicle and equipment ads across Gujarat on Zutilo. Depending on current ads, you may find JCB backhoe loaders, excavators, loaders, dumpers and other site machines. Compare the machine’s type, size and capacity with the digging, loading or other work you need it to do.
Ask for the maker, exact model, year and included attachments. A familiar brand name or a freshly painted body does not tell you whether a machine suits your site. Check the space and ground where it will work, how it will reach the site and what servicing support is available for that model.
Inspect it with a mechanic who knows the machine
Arrange an in-person inspection with a suitable mechanic and a safe demonstration by an experienced operator. Check starting, unusual smoke or noise, oil leaks, brakes and steering where relevant. Have the boom, arm, bucket, joints, tyres or tracks checked for wear, cracks and repairs.
Ask to see the machine work long enough for the mechanic to assess it once the machine has warmed up. Have the mechanic check the hydraulic arm and bucket movements, oil leaks and any repairs while the experienced operator demonstrates the machine safely. Photographs and a video help you prepare, but they cannot establish the condition of the machine.
Compare hours, repairs and the full purchase cost
Read the hours shown on the meter alongside service records, repair bills and actual wear. Ask if the meter has been replaced or repaired. Year and hours are useful details, but neither alone proves how carefully the machine has been used or maintained.
Confirm whether the quoted amount covers the complete machine, a bucket or other attachment, a rental charge or an advance. Ask what is included and budget for repairs, tyres or tracks, transport, servicing and any taxes or fees that apply. Compare machines of a similar model, year and condition, and check whether the same attachments are included.
Check ownership and plan transport before paying
Find out whether the advertiser owns the machine or is authorised to sell it. Compare the machine’s identifying details with ownership and purchase papers, and ask about any loan or outstanding dues. Registration, insurance, transfer and road-use requirements depend on the machine; confirm what applies rather than assuming every item needs the same papers.
Confirm the actual viewing location, loading arrangements and the cost of reaching your site. Agree who will organise transport and handover after inspection. Zutilo connects people with advertisers; it does not inspect machines, guarantee that the machine is ready for your work or will earn money, or handle the machine payment and ownership transfer.
Help buyers understand the machine you are selling
Give the exact maker and model, year, working hours, known faults and major repairs. Explain which buckets or other attachments come with it, what the asking price covers and where it can be inspected. Explain your role as owner, dealer or the owner’s representative.
Use clear photographs of the whole machine and its worn or repaired areas. Explain any missing records or work still needed rather than calling it fully ready without details. Keep private document information out of public photos and update or remove the ad when availability changes.
