Find a two-wheeler for your daily travel
Looking for a used bike or scooter around Dhoraji? Start with the journeys you make, the person who will ride it and the budget you can comfortably spend. Ask for the actual viewing address; the area shown in an ad is not enough to plan your visit.
Compare seat height, weight, passenger comfort and ease of handling. You may come across commuter bikes, an Activa or other scooters, and electric two-wheelers depending on current ads. For an electric vehicle, check whether you can charge it conveniently and whether its usable range suits your travel.
Check the condition and the cost after purchase
Arrange to see the vehicle in daylight and ask about accidents, repairs and servicing. Look for worn tyres, leaks, damage and unusual sounds. Check the brakes, lights and starting. If you are unsure, have a mechanic inspect it before agreeing to buy.
Keep part of your budget for servicing, tyres, battery replacement and the required paperwork. A low asking price is not always a lower total cost. For an electric scooter, ask about battery age, repairs, charger condition and any warranty that may still apply; verify the terms rather than relying on an ad.
Check who can sell the vehicle
Check that the registration certificate describes the vehicle you are seeing. Confirm whether the advertiser is the registered owner or has the owner’s permission to sell. Check applicable insurance, pollution papers and pending dues, and follow the official ownership-transfer process.
Agree the payment, documents and handover arrangements in writing. A private receipt does not replace the official transfer. Help buyers understand the bike you are selling
Use recent photos of your own bike or scooter. Mention its model, year, kilometres shown, known faults, service history and asking price. Explain whether you own it or are selling for the owner. Do not publish personal identity or document numbers in the ad.
Tell buyers where and when they can view it. Agree viewing and test-ride arrangements with the buyer. Ask the rider to wear a helmet and make sure they have the licence required for that vehicle. If a safe ride cannot be arranged, offer an inspection by a mechanic instead. Before handing over the vehicle, confirm payment in your own account rather than trusting a screenshot.
