Compare Ford cars in Gujarat
Start with the model and variant when comparing Ford cars. Check the year and kilometres, then allow for any work the car may need, such as new tyres or a service. Two cars from the same brand can have very different running costs.
Ask the seller before you travel
Ask which town or neighbourhood the car is in before travelling within Gujarat. Confirm it is still available. Ask how many owners it has had, what the odometer shows and whether the seller can show service bills. For a car with an added CNG kit, ask about the installation and its paperwork.
Look at the car in daylight
Check the tyres, body panels and dashboard warning lights. Try the air conditioning. If the seller agrees to a test drive, pay attention to steering, braking and gear changes. Ask an independent mechanic to inspect a used car before you settle on a price. For an electric or hybrid car, ask for a battery health report if one is available.
Check the papers before you pay
Match the car and registered owner to the registration certificate (RC). Check the insurance and pollution certificate where applicable. Ask whether there’s still a loan on the car. Ask the RTO what papers you’ll need to transfer ownership.
Write down the agreed price and who will handle the transfer. Keep proof of payment and handover. Inspect the car and check that the seller can sell it before paying a deposit.
Selling your car?
When advertising Ford cars, name the model and variant so buyers know which car they are looking at. Show the exterior, seats, dashboard and any damage in the photos. Include the year, kilometres driven, fuel type, asking price and where buyers can see the car. Mention known faults.
