Choose a car for your daily use

Check the registered owner and transfer process
Match the vehicle and its identification details to the registration certificate. Check the insurance, loan status and other documents needed for that vehicle. Ask if the advertiser is the registered owner, a dealer or someone acting for the owner, and establish who can sign the sale documents.
Confirm the official ownership-transfer requirements before payment and agree who will complete each step. Keep written sale, payment and handover details; a private receipt alone does not complete the official transfer. Give buyers a clear account of your car
