Choose an AC or air cooler for your room

Check the AC and the parts included
If the AC is still installed, arrange a safe cooling demonstration and listen for unusual noise. Ask about servicing, compressor repairs, leaks and faults. If it has been removed, discuss a suitable inspection with a technician before buying; a photo or a running fan does not prove it cools properly.
For a split AC, confirm that matching indoor and outdoor units are included. Ask about the remote, copper pipes, mounting bracket or stand and other parts needed for that model. Add missing parts, removal, transport, refitting and repairs to the total cost before agreeing.
Inspect the cooler’s water and airflow
For an air cooler, ask about tank capacity, cooling-pad condition and placement space. With the seller’s help, check fan speeds, the pump and water flow when it can be run safely. Look for tank leaks, cracks, rust and unusual noise.
An air cooler needs water and suitable airflow. Consider where you will refill it, how it will be cleaned and whether it can be moved where needed. Check wheels and covers if present; outside appearance does not prove it works.
Describe the unit honestly when selling
Show the actual AC or cooler in clear photos. Give type, brand, model, capacity if known, age, condition and faults. State which parts are included, the town and whether buyers can see it working. Offer installation or a warranty only if you genuinely provide it and can explain the terms.
