તમારી જરૂર મુજબ કપડાં શોધો
રોજિંદા ઉપયોગ, કામ કે પરિવારના પ્રસંગ માટે કેવાં કપડાં જોઈએ છે તે વિચારો. શર્ટ, પેન્ટ, ડ્રેસ, સાડી અને ચણિયા ચોળીમાં જુદી વાતો જોવાની હોય છે. વિકલ્પો હાલની જાહેરાતો પ્રમાણે બદલાય છે; કપડાં વપરાયેલાં, થોડાં પહેરેલાં કે ન વાપરેલાં છે તે પૂછો.
શું જોઈએ છે તે ખબર હોય તો મહિલાઓનાં, પુરુષોનાં કે પરંપરાગત કપડાંની જાહેરાતો જુઓ. આખો પોશાક વેચાતો હોય તો બ્લાઉઝ કે દુપટ્ટો જેવી કઈ વસ્તુ સામેલ છે તે પૂછો. ફોટામાં દેખાય તે બધું ભાવમાં મળે એવું માની ન લો.
માપ, કાપડ અને હાલત તપાસો
માત્ર લેબલની સાઇઝ પર આધાર ન રાખો. કપડાં પ્રમાણે છાતી, કમર અને લંબાઈનાં માપ તથા કેવી રીતે માપ્યાં છે તે પૂછો. તમને બરાબર આવતાં કપડાં સાથે સરખાવો. કપડાંમાં અગાઉ ફેરફાર કરાવેલો છે કે કાપડ ખેંચાય એવું છે તે પણ પૂછો.
સીવણ, બટન કે ચેઇન, ડાઘ, ઊતરેલો રંગ અને મરામત ધ્યાનથી જુઓ. હાલના સ્પષ્ટ ફોટા અને કાપડની વિગતો મંગાવો. સીવડાવવા કે સાફ કરાવવાની જરૂર હોય તો ભાવ સરખાવતી વખતે તેનો ખર્ચ પણ ગણો.

હવે ન પહેરતા કપડાં વેચવા હોય તો આગળ, પાછળ, સાઇઝના લેબલ અને ડાઘ કે નુકસાનના ફોટા આપો. કાપડ, ખરાં માપ, માપમાં થયેલો ફેરફાર, હાલત, ભાવ અને સ્થળ લખો. ઘણાં કપડાં સાથે વેચો તો દરેકના ફોટા અને બધાનો ભાવ જણાવો.
તમારા પોતાના કપડાં વેચો છો કે દુકાન તરીકે વેચાણ કરો છો તે જણાવો. દરેક વસ્તુને લગભગ નવી કહેવાને બદલે કેટલો ઉપયોગ થયો છે તે લખો. જાહેર ફોટામાં ખાનગી વિગતો દેખાવા ન દો. કપડાં આપતાં પહેલાં તમારા ખાતામાં પૈસા આવ્યા છે તેની ખાતરી કરો.
